My youngest son is doing very hard time with reading learn and I am now übergegengen to the reading texts from the school to type and there to copy. He can read the words into syllables and increase their reading speed gradually.

I think that's a good thing.

Here is a photo which I took yesterday of the first cherry blossoms in my garden.

The tree is becoming a white cloud and I just hope I can harvest this year many super delicious sweet cherries. What variety is it I can not say any more, but in any case, the tree fruit sold as a column on me. He does have a much leaner growth than a "normal" but in my cherry tree has distinct branches formed.

Hello everybody!

Yesterday I finally got to try out my dehydrator.

It has become dried pears. ;-)

seeeeehr tasty I can only say !!!!!

However, I have a little experiment with the drying time. The pears have enjoyed about 12 hours to the warm air stream. Since I had it but cut into wedges instead of rings, one or other column is still quite juicy.

My kids love the dried pears, but also very happy and so i think tonight is not much left over will be.

tonight are apples turn. I'm curious. ;-)

As in past years, I will grow again Orelia the zucchini in my garden.
This variety is a rank-free, golden yellow squash that tastes very good.
In recent years I have always had 2-3 plants in the garden, which was sufficient for my family of 5.
Since I now have the dehydrator, I will probably put 4-5 plants in the garden. Dried or cooked, we will be able to enjoy them in winter.

Unfortunately I have so much acreage for vegetables and Nevertheless, I would not give fruit to the installation and planning time here now growing for the year 2010.

Sown now I have the following:

egg-shaped F1 hybrids with many solid, fleshy, red fruit with very aromatic taste.

An all-rounder, suitable for fresh consumption, for boiling, grilling and deep-freezing to drying. Resistance to tomato wilt, Fusarium 0, nematodes.

I particularly like in this variety ausgeizen that the tomatoes do not need. I say only bush form! ;-)

Today a contribution will be about: clothes and washing powder!


The laundry and clothing in my family is a major cost item is dar. Our family of me, my husband and our 18 year old son and our two younger sons, 11 and 9 years old.
Especially the two youngest are right "mud children" love to play outside and get dirty accordingly home.

Each of us who must take care of the dirty laundry, you know the problem spots to get out again.
Since we now all are equipped with washing machines, eigendlich not a big problem. Unfortunately, they killed themselves but when it goes like washing powder influence of advertising.

I wash this:

- jeans and other durable fabrics with color washing. (Ariel)
- T'Shirts (colored), socks and sweatshirts with a mild detergent. (Rei)
- underwear, towels and bedding with detergent. (Ariel for whites)

for knitting things I take Perwoll.

I used to smile always tired when I watched my aunt in the wash. She also had the right detergent for all my stash and I was totally suspect.
I have either taken or white color detergent washing and good wars. Unfortunately I had to
but also find that the laundry that has suffered much. The colors are faded quickly and the fabric was brittle and thin.
With the use of the various powders, the problem has decreased significantly.

Some time ago I saw on TV a show with tips for dispensing of detergents and cleaning products.
There was advised to use a tablespoon as a measure.
I have the last few weeks now and it works really tried it out.
for colored and white clothes do I need exactly 3 (!) Tablespoon of detergent to the laundry to get clean.
This is significantly less than in the past where I've dosed according to the manufacturer.

I like to dry our laundry outside on the clothesline in the fresh air. In the winter I'm
but largely forced to switch to the Kondenzwäschetrockner. I'm just not enough space to dry all the clothes on racks to. :-(

After the initial screening, I can recommend in good conscience.
addition to tips on dehydrating are also really great recipes in the book which is really worth it nachzukochen or baking. (And I say where I still do not like to bake cakes!) * * Mpf

Now I'll even put the book a little on the sofa and browse through. (As long as peace is still, for the Easter holidays children receive today I just say. "Last Day")
